Community Groups

There are a variety of ways for people of all ages to come together in small groups to share in their faith and have a great time.

Sunday School:

Sunday mornings at 9:30 (September through May) we have opportunities for adults, youth, and kids to learn more about their faith.

New Zion Youth Group:

Our youth in middle school and high school meet once a week (September through May) to fellowship, learn, and grow in Christ.  Our Youth Group is a joint effort between Zion UCC and New Bethel Baptist Church.

Young Adult Group

Together, with the young adults of New Bethel Baptist Church, we seek to provide fun events, opportunities for growing in faith, and hands-on service experiences for those in our community who are ages post-high through their 30s.

Franklin Township Silver Flashes:

Focused on members who are seasoned in their years, this group gathers for fun and fellowship. From card playing to activities in the community there is something for everyone!

Pairs and Spares:

Whether singled or paired up, this group specializes in fun, fellowship, and service. Anyone out of high school and older are welcome.

Bible Study:

Want an in-depth look into the Bible? Our weekly Bible Study group meets at 10:30am on Mondays.  All are welcome as with dig deep into our holy scriptures.

Prayer Team:

Sign up to be a prayer warrior for our church members, our community, and our world. The prayer team dedicates specific time in prayer for the burdens and joys of Zion and it’s community.

Women’s Softball:

Joined with the churches in our community, the women of Zion play together for fun in the summer months.
